Caring For The Environment
Mistaya is footprint free! Our combined solar and micro-hydro system provides enough power to the lodge for the comforts of home without causing any damage to our environment. In the lodge we recycle, reuse and compost (we even have composting toilets!). Our certified guides help our small groups tread lightly through our terrain, making sure everyone in the future can see the same spectacular scenery.
Children
In the main lodge, parents must accompany young adults between the ages of 14 and 19, and accept in writing full responsibility for them during the trip. Younger children are welcome with an exclusive full-lodge booking. Gathering a group of friends or families together for a private lodge reservation it so much fun!
