WELCOME TO MISTAYA LODGE
Where comfort, solitude and alpine adventures meet!
Mistaya Lodge is luxury! Join us at our helicopter access backcountry lodge in the Canadian Rocky Mountains for alpine hiking in the summer, or guided ski touring in untouched powder in the winter. We are a family-run lodge and we love what we do!
Surrounded by pristine peaks, glaciers, and alpine meadows, Mistaya Lodge is perfect for accessing fabulous terrain, relaxing in the glow of mountaintop sunsets, and star gazing beneath immense skies. Our certified guides can plan excursions for all levels of alpine hiking, guided ski touring, snowshoeing, and mountaineering. At the end of each day, refresh yourself with a sauna, a place to put your feet up, and a delicious home-cooked meal.
While the lodge is nestled deep in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, our operations are based in Golden BC, near Yoho and Banff National Park. Join us at Mistaya Lodge, where comfort, solitude, and alpine adventures meet!

I can’t think of a better way to bring in the New Year
Awesome! Some of the best skiing of my life – whooping down the big boulders under the WildCat falls!
Went beyond my expectations, nature at its best. Great food and hospitality made for a wonderful four days.
Thanks for the great facility – beautiful clear weather- fabulous views – skied to my hearts content.
This place is sheer magic!
Thanks to the hardworking, fun-loving staff at Mistaya. We had a blast!
Wow I feel lucky that my first backcountry ski week happened to be at Mistaya.
Thanks for one of the most breathtaking experiences of my life
My second visit to Mistaya after a break of 9 years – why did I wait so long?
Took a detour from the rat race to a Rocky Mountain paradise. With wind at my back and sun on my face hiked my way through meadows, rocks and glacier ice.
